Vanilla in the latte is a pleasant smell compared to the musty dead-people smell he is used to. Even if it doesn't sit well, it smells nice... ]
If you are to be my future employer, I am awaiting your questions. [ A beat. ] I presently work part-time at the Pandemonium bookstore near my apartment. I use that job to pay the rent but it does not pull much for other luxuries and expenses. I have been seeking a job in design that has gone not very far. [ Because no one in Ryslig appreciates a nice sign or whatever. He flips through the folder with his fingers. ]
I am aware that a cafe may not be in need of an artist. I do advertising on and off. [ He slips a business card for Ebony Threads out from the folder, and another for Pandemonium. Without having any computer or notary equipment, they are beautifully crafted with elegant script and clear information within tasteful flourishes.
Another is a flier... And the fourth he presents to her is the cover of a comic book. It is in black and white, but some lines or specific details have an eyecatch in the form of one splash of color. PHANTOMPOINT by Rohan Kishibe-Sensei features a large, exceptionally-buff man tearing through one half of the cover with the razor claws of a werewolf. His pulled-back sneer of teeth lead the eyecatch color-- His bright watercolor cyan eyes turned up to a looming figure over the rest of the scene. The figure is a goblin dressed in billowing black robes wearing a sneer of his own and sporting bright purple wings threaded with black veins against a purple membrane.
It's an action comic book, okay. ]
This is for my manga that I am working on. I just wanted to place what I have in my resume in the open should you desire advertising. Otherwise I can sling coffee and I could probably learn how to make your face in the latte with a straw.
